focuses on the applications of bioinformatics and IT in the life 
sciences. We selected excellent speakers from biotech research as well 
as pharma industry. Topics will cover bioinformatics in drug discovery

The first conference in Belgium focused on the applications of 
bioinformatics in life sciences.

This one-day event will take place on *October 16th* 2007 at the *SAP 
lounge Brussels*, Belgium.

The main purpose of the conference is to set up a Belgian-based meeting 
platform where people involved in life sciences can meet on a regular 
basis to exchange experience and new innovative ideas about *applied 
bioinformatics*. This first edition will be focusing on *pharmaceutical 
R&D*.
