The IPK Postdoc Board together with the de.NBI are pleased to announce the next International Spring School “Computational Biology Starter 2019” (#CompBioStarter2019).

The “Computational Biology Starter” Spring School will be held from 20-22nd of March 2019 at the IPK gatersleben (Germany). Our spring school offers lectures and hands-on introduction to useful computational biology as well as bioinformatics tools and workflows that can later be applied to your own work.



We offer lectures and hands on workshops on the topics:

  *   Introduction into Linux and R for data analysis
  *   Statistics and figures to visualize data
  *   Analysing and visualising imaged-based data in applied phenomics
  *   Using Galaxy to define analysis pipelines
  *   Metabolic modelling

The Spring School is intended for early career scientists like graduate students or postdocs, as well as any other interested person in the topics of our Spring School. In total 25 participants will be selected based on a motivation letter.

The deadline for application is the 30th of November 2018.
