Dear colleague,

Helis Academy, a 3-year project, is nearing its project end date. For this
reason we would like to welcome you one last time during our online *Closing
event on 17&18 June.* <https://helisacademy.com/en/closing-event> Helis
Academy aims to increase the industry readiness in Health and Life Sciences
by developing training programmes in line with the knowledge and skills
that are required in the industry. This online event will combine these
elements in *2 days filled with informative, interactive sessions. *



*Day 1: Symposium - 17 June, 09:30-12:30 - ONLINE*

On 17 June Helis Academy presents you an online symposium. You’ll learn
more about the project, the cross-border collaboration programme and *how
careers in life sciences are stimulated and supported* during the
presentations by flanders.bio, Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland and the
keynote of Academic Transfer. Afterwards, you will be able to join 1 of our *4
interactive parallel sessions* and discover more about some of the *Helis’
domains*: (1) Product & process design (2) Data analysis & stewardship (3)
Technology & life sciences and (4) Business development. You’ll get the
opportunity to expand your network and attend a *networking carrousel* in
which you’ll be matched automatically with other attendees. The morning
ends with an *inspirational panel discussion* and a plenary summary where
the main outcomes of the parallel sessions will be presented.

*Day 2: Student Programme - 18 June, 08:30-13:00 - ONLINE*

Curious to learn more about the* life sciences sector in the Netherlands
and Flanders?* Join the online Helis Academy Student Programme on 18 June
to find out more about the diverse job opportunities and career paths that
the life sciences domains offer. This unique opportunity allows you to
*interact
with different companies and industry experts in a virtual setting.* The
event will be organized on the OnAir platform, where you will be able to
follow plenary presentations (with live Q&A) and participate in ‘Meet your
Match’ sessions with employers in *the domains of product & process design,
data analysis & stewardship and business development.* The Student
Programme is aimed at students, recent graduates and starters in the field
of life sciences.

Helis Academy is a consortium of 10 public and private partners that strive
to optimize the Life Sciences & Health cluster in the Netherlands and
Flanders by increasing industry readiness. The project focuses on the
development and coordination of appropriate training programmes by matching
companies' job requirements and profiles to curricula. Helis Academy is
financed by the Interreg V-programme Flanders-Netherlands, the cross border
collaboration programme with financial support from the European Fund for
Regional Development (EFRO).
