Dear colleagues,

UAntwerpen is hiring a Bioinformatics Core Facility Manager.

Biomina (biomedical informatics network Antwerpen) is a new Core Facility that delivers professional bioinformatics services to support biomedical, clinical, biological, and bio-engineering labs of the UAntwerpen and external clients in hospitals and industry. The mission is to 1) build sustainable support, training, and collaboration models; 2) increase bioinformatics capacity to meet growing demands; and 3) build a strong bioinformatics community. The Bioinformatics Core Facility Manager will be the daily lead of this facility, which is built around a multi-disciplinary UAntwerpen consortium that unites life scientists and data scientists in bioinformatics and medical informatics. We will embed the selected candidate in the Adrem Data Lab (Department of Computer Science). He/she will interact closely with partners from the Medical, Life Sciences, and Sciences faculties.

Kind regards,

Kris
