Duties will be to support a broad range of scientific projects in all areas of marine science covering high performance computing, databases, bioinformatics and application development. Linux Administration, database\SQL and strong scripting skills are essential; experience with bioinformatics software and application development would be of major benefit.<br>Initially for 2 years, this post has potential to be extended as new scientific projects are awarded.<br>SAMS offers an employee benefits package as well as generous pension scheme.<br>Situated at Dunstaffnage on the beautiful west coast of Scotland, the area offers a range of activities for those who enjoy the outdoors.
