
Postdoctoral Position in Computational Protein Design (Brussels/Belgium) A two-year Postdoctoral Position is available in the Genomic and Structural BioInformatics Unit of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium), to work on the development of computational tools for the rational design of proteins with modified (thermal) stability, solubility, or activity. The position is open immediately. The starting date should be no later than October 2012. Competitive salary commensurate with experience is offered. The candidate should hold a PhD degree in bioinformatics, computational biology or in a related field, have an extensive experience in programming (preferably in C), a strong publication record, and a high motivation to carry out research in this area. The candidate should not have been domiciled in Belgium during the last two years. Candidates with a background in physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering, and with a strong desire to develop and apply rational and computational tools to problems of biological or medical interest are also encouraged to apply.
