The
BBC (Benelux Bioinformatics Conference) 2008
is rapidly approaching. Have you been selected for a presentation and
would you
like to brush up your presentation skills? The RSG Netherlands is
organizing a
BioCafé* workshop on November 19th, in Utrecht where Gijs Meeusen
(trainer and
education consultant) will lead a 'Presenting Science' workshop.
This
is not solely for presenters of BBC, if you
are just generally interested in improving your skills please feel free
to
come. Please register before November 1st by sending an
e-mail to rsg-netherlands@iscbsc.org.

BioCafé is an initiative of the RSG Netherlands
and specially organised for PhD students in bioinformatics to enlarge
their
scientific and personal network. The first BioCafé was organised May
2008 with
presentations of senior researchers about their careers and tips and
tricks to
get research published.
