We’re looking for a PhD candidate to study long non-coding RNA expression data in cancer.
The PhD candidate will work with high-dimensional (single-cell) RNA-sequencing datasets (pubic and in house generated) and apply various bio-informatics tools to delineate and characterize lncRNA transcript structures, study lncRNA expression
regulation and integrate complementary data types (i.e. histone marks, CAGE-sequencing, DNA copy-number, …) in the context of cancer. The goal is to expand our knowledge on the role of lncRNAs in cancer, characterize lncRNA expression heterogeneity (between
lineages and within lineages) and prioritize novel candidate biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
