Area: Visualization and visual exploration of complex biomedical knowledge. The research will focus on development and implementation of new approaches to visualize molecular interaction networks. In particular, the successful candidate will propose new methods to combine different sources of data, including bioinformatics databases and high-throughput omics, on diagrams of molecular mechanisms. Problems to address will, among others, concern combined visualization of graph representations and protein structures.
