A one-year postdoc position is available at Institute for Cancer
Research at Oslo University Hospital.
Applications are invited from students holding a PhD in
bioinformatics or molecular biology with experience in analysis of
high throughput data.
The post.doc will participate in the development of a gene based
diagnostic test for detection of aggressive cervical cancer.
A gene signature underlying the test has been identified, and
validation and optimization of the signature in a new patient cohort
will be major tasks.
Extension of the post.doc period with two more years will be
possible in case of a decision towards commercialization of the
test.
