Dear Colleagues, Mark your calendars for the Belgium Research Software Engineer (RSE) community day on 4th December 2025. This event, organized this year by KU Leuven and VIB and located at Campus Arenberg in Heverlee, is centered around the Belgian Research Software Engineers Community (BE-RSE) and aims to foster that community and collectively improve the standard of software used for scientific research. In particular we will focus on open source and open hardware initiatives in research this year. Thursday 4 December is your chance to meet and connect with other research software engineers in Heverlee to share experiences, learn about new opportunities and advancements in research software and engage in open discussions with peers in the field.
