Function description
As a member of the bioinformatics team you will participate in bioinformatics efforts supporting the drug discovery projects
at Galapagos.
By carrying out functional analyses, data integration, and implementing and executing data analysis methodologies, you work with the multidisciplinary disease biology and drug discovery teams in acquiring scientific insights to direct the research strategy.
You will play a key role in implementing bioinformatics tools and methods supporting a wide range of activities, from research projects to proof-of-concept studies. In collaboration with the Information Systems (IS) team, these tools will be incorporated into
Galapagos’ informatics infrastructure.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and deploy bioinformatics-driven solutions to the scientific community at Galapagos.
