A broad community of stakeholders recently described a set of guiding principles to ensure that scientific data be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). This workshop will provide an introduction to FAIR Data Stewardship in the context of the European research initiatives. The morning session will provide a brief introduction to the key issues and ample time for discussion. The afternoon session will be devoted to a practical introduction to data ‘FAIRification’ using real-life datasets.
