Thank you very much for registering for the Research software engineering day! We're happy you're joining us in Ghent, and we would also love to hear what you're currently focused on. 

The call for contributions for the 4th edition is open until October 25. We’re looking for researchers, developers, and research software engineers who want to share their experiences, solutions, challenges, and lessons learned with the community.

Contributions can cover topics such as:

• Software engineering practices in research

• FAIR and reproducible software

• Open-weight LLMs, tinyML, and edgeML

• Computational challenges in science

• Research software and HPC

• Successes and failures of LLM applications

If you haven't done so, you can submit a short abstract and motivation and select one of the following formats:

• Poster

• Demo

• Short presentation (8 minutes)

• Full presentation (30 minutes)
