PhD position on the Bioinformatic Analysis of Protein Interaction Networks The department of Biology of the Faculty of Sciences invites applications for a PhD position. The aim of the research is 1) to increase our understanding of the functional architecture of the protein interaction network; and 2) to explain why the protein interaction network has the properties that it seemingly has. You have a MSc in the life, medical or computational sciences, with interest in performing research into evolutionary dynamics of genomes and networks. Ideally you have experience with bioinformatic (sequence) analysis and able to program in a scripting language like perl or python. Gross salary starts with € 1,956.− per month in the first year and increases to € 2,502.− in the fourth year of employment.
