The Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology and Aquatic Ecology (Ghent University, Belgium) is urgently looking for someone to conduct research in (Epi)genomics and Bioinformatics in Ecotoxicology and Stress Ecology You will collaborate with a team of experienced ecotoxicologists and ecologists on several projects (in collaboration with bioinformatics experts at our faculty) to develop and apply methodologies that enable the use of epi(genomics) tools and datasets (including next generation sequencing) in ecotoxicology and stress ecology, in order to understand mechanistically and to predict how chemicals and other stressors interfere with normal biological functioning of ecosystems.
