We will use established (e.g., affinity purification-mass spectrometry, AP-MS) technologies and further implement recent developments (i.e., thermal proteome profiling) to identify the protein targets of a range of lead compounds in the area of human health. The selected candidate will have access to the latest mass spectrometry equipment in the VIB’s Proteomics Expertise Center (https://corefacilities.vib.be/pec) housed in the VIB Medical Biotechnology Center, and will work in close collaboration with molecular biologists. Profile Expertise in the field of mass spectrometry driven proteomics, and especially on protein complex purification and analysis is an important asset. How to apply? Interested candidates are asked to apply online through http://www.vib.be/en/jobs/Pages/Postdoctoral-Researcher-%E2%80%93-Chemic....
