Dear Dr Vining,
The graphic you are referring to is generate by an inhouse perl script. It actually parses the GFF annotation file and calculates the number of 'genic' bases in a given window. Unfortunately that script is not really suited for redistribution. I can however generate you a textual output (and/or the corresponding figure) if that might be of any help.
best regards,
lieven

Onderwerp: [Beg-bogas] Populus gene density data
Hello,
I see you have a chromosome graphic showing poplar gene density on the Bogas home page. Could you please tell me where I might be able to download/plot this gene density data to generate my own graphic? What tool did you use to generate this graphic?
Thanks for any help.
Kind regards,
Kelly Vining
