hi, I removed the transactional stuff from gv_ws.pl. There also was a global problem affecting the whole site as autocommit was set as default to be off. IT assures me nothing changed on the sql server. they were so helpful to use the test_commit.pl script and point me towards to error_log on psbweb02 where it states that: [Fri Nov 07 13:44:13 2008] [error] [client 157.193.202.36] Transactions not supported by database at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux/DBI.pm line 672.
