so to keep everybody posted, we just had a sysbiol meeting with PIs in the lab. The goal was to present some preliminary results that we produced by applying the enigma and lemone algorithms on the Arabidopsis compendium dataset (~20,000 genes x ~500 experiments). Steven explained briefly how we build the dataset and how enigma works then Tom explained a bit the mysteries underlying lemone. Some modules were shown and discussed. The practical conclusion was basically that we will organize groups to study more in details interesting enigma and lemone modules. There will be a group on cell cycle (obviously) with Dirk, Lieven and others, a group on stress related processes with other people and so on. The idea is to improve and refine the modules by discussing their relevance with the biological experts.
