[Beg-sysbiol] there is a meeting on systems biology (biomedicine) and bacterial networks (what's that?) in 2007

Systems biology (biomedicine) will probably be more focused on the application/experimental side of things rather than computational. Bacterial networks = biological networks in bacteria, maybe more inclined toward experimental manipulation of those networks and synthetic biology ? -- ================================================================== Steven Maere, PhD Dept. of Plant Systems Biology Bioinformatics & Evolutionary Genomics research group VIB / Ghent University Technologiepark 927 B-9052 Gent BELGIUM tel: +32 9 331 3810 fax: +32 9 331 3809 email: stmae@psb.UGent.be http://www.psb.UGent.be http://bioinformatics.psb.ugent.be/ ==================================================================

questioning bacterial networks, don't try that at home :-) there's nothing to find in terms of program about these conferences, except there already was one in 2006 entitled bacterial networks <http://www.esf.org/activities/esf-conferences/archives/2006/bacterial-networks-joining-the-strengths-of-structural-and-systems-biology-to-reach-synthetic-biology.html> so we should not feel bad about some overlap between our proposal and some of topics in 2005.
