Hi, I know it's a bit unannouced, but these are the current 'new' movies I've recently downloaded. If you want some, drop your hd at my desk ;) (mine still is ext3 formatted, so that sucks for all you windows users.) 4rooms Apocalypto[2006]DvDrip[Eng.Hard.Sub]-aXXo Avalanches_-_Frontier_Psychiatrist.mpg Batman.Begins[2005]DVDrip.h264.[Eng]-phrax Big Fish Blood Diamond Burn After Reading 2008 BDRip H264 ACC-SecretMyth (Kingdom-Release) Casino (1995) [ENG] [DVDrip] [FS] Chaos.Theory[2007]DvDrip.AC3-aXXo Children of Men Cloverfield.DVDRip.XviD-DiAMOND De leeuw van vlaanderen Flags.Of.Our.Fathers[2006]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo Glory[1989]DvDrip[Eng]-prithwi Gran.Torino.2008.DvDRip-FxM Grindhouse-Death.Proof[2007][Unrated.Editon]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo Hearts of Darkness - A Filmmakers Apocalypse.avi In.Bruges[2008]DvDrip-aXXo Man.On.Wire.2008.DVDRip.XviD Match Point (2005) DVDRiP KVCD by Hockney(TUS Release) Platoon 1986 H264 Special Edition DVDRip-Pcconsultant2007 R-Point Scoop[2006]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo The Battleship Potemkin The Thin Red Line DVDRip Occor.avi The.Dark.Knight.PROPER.TS.XViD-mVs Tora! Excellent framing and landscaping. This movie got released in the same year as Saving Private Ryan and this resulted in an undeserved missing of the spotlight. It's also worht mentioning that the director only made three movies and that his previous one was more than 20years before The Thin Red Line. Platoon: well, gripping and realistic Vietnam movie. Children of Men: Made me have respect for Clive Owen. I like these post-apocalyptic movies without the world being nuked. Cloverfield: handycam shot horror movie. Avalanches: it's only a music video, but makes me smile each time. Blood Diamond: dramatic but strangely nihilistic. Gran Torino: grumpy 'feel good' movie. You've gotta take 'feel good' with an enormous amount of salt tho. Burn After Reader: kick ass movie. I went from wtf to WTF throughout the whole thing. Brilliant. Hearts of Darkness: kind of the making of Apoclaypse Now. Everytime I see this, I want to create things. Coppola really has too much enery. Match Point: an agreeable Woody Allen movie. It made me smile through the ending. Unforgiven: Another Clint Eastwood movie from 1992. Bad quality but an excellent western. In Bruges: It's got an English touch and reminded me therefor of Snatch. It's slower paced tho. Wonder Boys: for the potsmokers amougst us. Battleship Potemkin: it's black and white and from 1925, so without sound. The amazing thing about the movie is how they showed people being shot (a closeup of a women shot through the glasses), so it's realistic and brutal. I haven't managed to look through the whole movie tho. Tora!x3: 3 hour epos about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Very slow paced, but extremely realistic. Nicely done. De Leeuw Van Vlaanderen: makes me laugh from beginning till end. What a mess. -Kenny -- ================================================================== Kenny Billiau Web Developer Tel:+32 (0)9 331 36 95 fax:+32 (0)9 3313809 VIB Department of Plant Systems Biology, Ghent University Technologiepark 927, 9052 Gent, BELGIUM kenny.billiau@ugent.be http://bioinformatics.psb.ugent.be ================================================================== "The important thing is that you're alive" - Roxanne
