However, no hardware solution (dvd-player with support for divx, ps3, ....) can play those, so i was thinking of converting them to either mpeg2 or mpeg4/divx5. Could you send a sample of one of those files? I believe I encoded my movies (and Futurama's!) with the same codec. I think you could go with mencoder. A linux app, but maybe you can run it in a vm?
