I was running a script as well, but when I re-ran it it worked perfectly (in retrospect definitely not the smartest way to test it)

I'm suspecting Lieven, Yvans student. Could it be coincidence that he 
asks information about how many jobs you can submit to the cluster, a 
script to do this, and how to reach midas from home? Then he leaves 
(around 16u30?) with the message "I'll let the computer do its job now." ...
