Hi, yesterday I discovered the following ff plugin: vimperator. It makes your ff act like VIM :) This means no mouse at all! opentab: t closetab: d follow link: f open url: o next tab: ctrl+n prev tab: ctrl+p etc.. for those who's fingers are melted in vim keybindings, this is a must :) and of course, the beloved scrolling of the page with hjkl and ctrl+d (down a page) of ctrl+u (up a page), etc.. http://vimperator.org/trac/wiki/Vimperator gH! (go Home, in a new tab ;)) -Kenny On Mon, 16 Feb 2009, lieven sterck wrote:
it works! but I like the wheel close more ;-) , just click wheel somewhere in tab and it closes (no need to aim at the x)

Use the mouse more than the keyboard, so hitting ctrl/alt-tab is an extra hand movement :p Lieven : you need to have some tabs "out of vision", then the scrollwheel will make them visible (and hide others)

Gosh, I just found out that a scroll wheel can scroll through a list of tabs (from firefox, netbeans, etc)...
Oh happy day :-)
You must be so proud. Scrolling on a taskbar does it too (or on a desktop if you have more than one).
You know that CTRL-TAB and ALT-TAB do the same thing, so you save on a hand movement?
