[Binari] generating java gui's

Anyone experience with automatically generating java code for (Swing?) gui's? Not for me, but for a mate of mine... And maybe if anyone has experience with groovy (http://groovy.codehaus.org/) they could tell me what they thought of it ? -Sofie
