Hi, jogor is vagely interested in the fun part of binari (maybe also in the secret society part (I didn't know we were) (but I always wanted to be a StoneCutter)). (who makes home work through ssh, who has the most screen real estate .. we do ! we do-ooo!) (who makes the Xwin clutter up nice, who makes the cluster cough and die .. we do ! we do-o!) Is anyone opposed to let 'm try it out for a time? -Kenny -- ================================================================== Kenny Billiau Web Developer Tel:+32 (0)9 331 36 95 fax:+32 (0)9 3313809 VIB Department of Plant Systems Biology, Ghent University Technologiepark 927, 9052 Gent, BELGIUM kenny.billiau@psb.ugent.be http://bioinformatics.psb.ugent.be ==================================================================

I always wonder where people here about our binari list... Not such a good secret society, eh? :p But no, no arguments against joining. Really like your BinariCutter song though, K'nish :p Sofie Kenny Billiau wrote:

There are social events like coffee breaks (and Stephane sneaking around and looking onto my screen of course, but that was not the reason). I'm also not opposed Esther. PS: When reading the mail subject I was thinking that it's about some Star Wars character or similar... ;-) Sofie Van Landeghem wrote:

Social events are overrated. Unless they include beer, ofcourse. Sofie Esther-Kristin Lather wrote:

meaning mathematically prepared and approved social events with PEs (pint equivalents) of approximately 10 per person - so on a scale of "drunk event guaranteed" to borderline "marginal" - are not overrated? glad you did appreciate my party after all ;-) no arguments against jogor joining either - let's get him in! nathalie Sofie Van Landeghem wrote:

I certainly do not have anything against anybody joining the list, but I just started wondering what happens if anybody really would... Is it a majority vote? Or are there people with a veto? Tine

If you would veto, you would have to have a good reason and be able to convince us in a little discussion which would result in a drastic increase in the lately introduced binari popularity measure. Anyone a reason? :-) Otherwise it's more like: "If anyone present, for any reason knows why these two should not be joined, let him speak now or forever hold his peace." Tine Blomme wrote:
