Dear all, we are pleased to announce the release of the Cell Cycle Ontology (http://www.cellcycleontology.org) version 0.9.9. For this release, up-to-date data from the main sources (GOA, GO, UniProt, and from an orthoMCL execution) has been integrated. As usually, please refer to the application ontologies stored in the mirroring repositories (http://www.cellcycleontology.org/download) or directly via our web site (http://www.cellcycleontology.org/download/ontologies): http://www.cellcycleontology.org/ontology/obo/cco_A_thaliana.obo http://www.cellcycleontology.org/ontology/obo/cco_S_cerevisiae.obo http://www.cellcycleontology.org/ontology/obo/cco_S_pombe.obo http://www.cellcycleontology.org/ontology/obo/cco_H_sapiens.obo and/or the entire ontology: http://www.cellcycleontology.org/ontology/obo/cco.obo Moreover, CCO can also be explored from the BioPortal (http://www.bioontology.org/ncbo/faces/pages/ontology_list.xhtml) as well as from the Ontology Lookup Service (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ontology-lookup/). Besides, there is a SPARQL endpoint allowing SPARQL queries to be run against the CCO ontologies (http://www.cellcycleontology.org/query/sparql). Finally, OWL-DL queries can also be launched (http://www.cellcycleontology.org/query/owl-dl). For further information please refer to http://www.cellcycleontology.org or contact cco@psb.ugent.be Best regards, The CCO team
