Dear all, For those who want to travel cheap: There is also a railway station in Castellammare del Golfo, though a few kilometers outside the town. From the airport (station Punta Raisi), you can take the train to Piraineto (about 5-10 minutes), there you have to change and take the train to Castellammare del Golfo (about 1 hour). You cold book a transfer from and to the airport by contacting Marsala Tours ( www.marsalatours.it/ ) or TOPtransfer ( www.toptransfer.it/ ).

Alternatively you could take a taxi at the airport (about 90 €). For almost the same price you could also rent a car. The cheapest company could be found at www.easyterra.com/
