Dear all, The argon laser of Olympus will not ignite again. I have turned it on this morning, let's hope it fires sometime during the day... I have informed Olympus as they promised me to install a new laser soon. the other lasers are still available and can be used. Problem solved. Please once again follow the procedure when switching off and on the confocals. 405 lamp has been on all the week-end. And I lost 1 hour of my time because of a stupid mistake during a switch off procedure. So thanks to make me fell good on a monday morning !!! The microscope of the Exciter 5 does not respond. No power and no connexion to the computer. Right now the confocal is out of use. If someone as a clue how to solve it, I am in the confocal room.
