Dear all, Please do not switch off individual units on the confocals. In this case, the CTR button on the SP8X (in attachment) was turned off and the system did not start up as it could not find this unit. To my knowledge, the only buttons that should be controlled on the units themselves are those for the lasers, the epifluorescence sources and the water pump. All other buttons are controlled via the main switches of the confocals (spinning disc, zeiss, olympus and leica). Have fun imaging, d Prof. Dr. ir.
