Dear all, The cameras of the spinning disc are exchanged as the rear camera (the mostly used one) gives a very pixeled image. The top camera is now on the place of the rear camera, but settings are for the moment still as top camera. With some adaptations you can use it as normal. Please contact me if you cant to use it, so I can help you with this. Dear all, There will be a whole day intervention on the SP8 from Leica this thursday (12/03). Please keep this in mind for your planned experiments. I could not register this in the calendar because of existing reservations. In case you cancel, let me know than I can reserve this maintenance. @ Peter: you could use your session till the person arrives. Arrival time is depending on the traffic. @ Xiapeng: I assume your session will not be influenced, but just check a bit in advance. [Confocal] Leica SP8X Argon laser

Dear all, The Argon laser of the Leica SP8X is getting unstable. This has nothing to do with the power break. You can still use it, but you have to restrict it to 20% in the window where you activate it. Running the Argon laser at low output will anyway increase its life span, so from now on, this should be implemented at all times. have fun imaging, d Prof. Dr. ir.
