Dear all,
The 580 beamsplitter is now installed on the spinning disc allowing to simultaneously image GFP/RFP .
If you would like to simultaneously image CFP/YFP the beamsplitter needs to be changed to the 509 beamsplitter. This is physically taking out the filter and put the other one in, something that needs to be done by Daniel or me.
Keep in mind that before using both cameras you ALWAYS need to calibrate first.
This can be done through a userfriendly wizard 'Calibrate Multicamera' (under Video). This procedure is described on the last page of the manual ( S:\research\groups\group_alice\CONFOCAL\Info\Manuals ConfocalsPSB\Spinning Disc\Spinning Disc_Manual_V20200828).
If not clear, don't hesitate to ask for help.
