Dear confocal users,
If you use the 559 laser of the Olympus confocal (FV1000), please keep in mind that the shutter doesn't always work. This results in blocking the laser light to reach your sample.
Please check if you see the laser through the objective when the laser is on.
If not, the shutter of the 559 laser needs to be moved manually.
This is quit simple and easy to do. But it needs a bit of explanation.
If you would need it in the coming weeks, I can show you today or tomorrow how to do.
Else, some people of the lab E119 (jobor, dasav, anhou) also know how to do.
The company is contacted and they will come to repair, but it will take some time dued to holidays.
Greetings,
Evelien
