Dear SP2 users, The transmission light of the SP2 seems to break rather fast (already 2 lamps replaced in the last month, which is exceptional). It can be solved by replacing the lamp. Please come to Daniel or me as we can easily exchange it. If we are not around, you can also ask Kristof (techhelp). A working transmission light gives a visible light at the left side of the microscope (see indicated black box at picture below). You only need this for visualizing your sample through the microscope (NOT for confocal imaging).
