Dear all, The PC of the Zeiss Exciter has been converted to Windows 7, which allows the use of the Zen 2009 software (the same as for the Zeiss 710). Please note that you should select 'WINDOWS 7' (and NOT windowd Vista) after starting up the computer. Also some emission filters are changed, which allows better imaging of RFP in channel 1 (bandpass filters are available now to eliminate the autofluorescence, whereas before there were only long pass filters available). In detail: LP 530 and LP 560 are moved from ch 1 to ch2 and BP 530-560 and BP 560-615 are moved from ch 2 to ch 1. This can result in problems when reloading your settings. Do check your emission filters after reloading! In case of questions or problems please contact Daniel or me.
