Dear confocalers, ZEISS710 was on today. A super dry round dish on the microscope bank declared that the microscope was not used for several hours. Given that's morning it means it was there overnight. The problem is that the laser was active. I think that Daniel and rest specialists have given directions and clarified that this is the most sensitive part of the microscope, most expensive and time consuming to repair. Given that we have only one lovely super microscope for many users, please be aware of their instructions. If you forgot them, they are always happy to remind you. Kind regards Mike
