Dear confocal users,

Channel or detector 2 from Zeiss 710 is not working.

Depending on the number of fluorophores, you can continu imaging but with a small adaptation of the Light path: 

For imaging up to 2 colours just use the other 2 channels (Ch1 and Ch3).

For imaging 3 colours FRAME sequential scanning will be required ( one of the channels will capture 2 colours, or you can even put all colours on one channel).  LINE sequential imaging or simultanous imaging will not be possibe.

Also note that in case of  Smart setup or reuse, you will have to adapt the Light path. 

Don't hesitate to contact Daniel or me if you would have problems for setting up.
