Dear all,

Please can you do the following in case you encounter the error 'firmware event code: timeout image transfer':

- create error report:

- printscreen of error
- describe which kind of imaging you were doing right before the error: timelapse, Z-stack, ...  large image files, ... 
- save on \\psb.ugent.be\shares\research\images\images_cameras\confocal\Problems_Leica SP8 --> make new folder with date and mention firmware event code
- inform me

With these actions we hope to find the cause of these errors.  There are very random, which makes solving them a very difficult task.   Registration of image setup on the moment of error, could indicate if this is correlated with a certain image setup.   

Unfortunately restarting the software is the only solution after this error.  And if needed the whole system.

Dear all,

If the following error (firmware event code, see picture below) would still appear, please let me know!!

In principle, this shouldn't be the case anymore.  This error was related to the problem with the part causing the problem for the brightfield light.
As this part is completely new, we shouldn't have it anymore.
