A new PC was installed and the Zeiss CLSM works again.

The PC still needs to be connected to the network, but I will ask IT to do this next week.

One small change is that with this software version, you need to start the argon laser by clicking the standby button first. After a couple of minutes, you can then click on the "laser on" button.

To shut down the laser, just click on the "off" button (you do not need to go via the standby mode, unless you want to leave the laser on standby for a while like over lunch) and wait for the laser to cool down before switching off the system (as always).
