Dear spinning disc users,

I'm very happy to inform you about a functional spinning disc again.

It was a complex problem in a sense that the cause was not very clear. Different things were tested to exclude some possibilities. A repair part took a long time to be delivered. And at the end, installation of the repair part gave other problems that helped us to find the real cause: the photokinesis unit (to perform FRAP). This part has been excluded from the system, and also a stucked mirror has been moved that blocked the light. So, for the moment everything is working as before, but without the FRAP unit.

The PC has been reinstalled too, and IT also included the new way of network drives. So, no icon for mapping drives, but immediately access to the cameras drive. (Note, no access to the group drives!)
