Dear, I would like to introduce myself as the newly appointed coordinator for ELIXIR Belgium. The main goal of ELIXIR Belgium is to establish communication and more collaboration between the different bioinformatics groups and work towards an active and integrated bioinformatics community in Belgium. ELIXIR Belgium initially focuses on both sustainable agriculture and human health. Integration of the Belgian node into ELIXIR Europe will increase visibility and will strengthen the position of Belgian research groups in the European and international context.
