[Nfix2008] 8ENFC first deadline approaching

Dear all, We are pleased to announce that a number of travel grants have been made available by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies* *to support the attendance of young microbiologists and by the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to support of young biochemists and molecular biologists. These grants are available for attendees of the 8^th European Nitrogen Fixation Conference that meet the organisation requirements. We want to draw your attention to the approaching deadline to submit applications which is *March 1, 2008*. All information concerning the grants is available on the Conference website (http://nfix2008.psb.ugent.be/financial_assistance). Meeting Grantees will be notified personally and will be required to register *before April 4, 2008*. The grants will be handed to the Grantees at the on-site registration in Ghent. The L.O.C. also wants to strongly advise you *not to postpone the arrangement of your accommodation*, since August and September are busy months is Ghent.
