Details: "Signalling modules controlling the stem cell niche in
Arabidopsis"
ABSTRACT
Stem cell fate in shoot and root meristems is controlled
by the interaction with the stem cell niche. Several
genes (encoding transcription factors or signalling
molecules) have been identified in recent years that are
essential to promote or restrict stem cell fate. I will
discuss some of the mechanisms regulating stem cell
fate, and present recent data addressing commonalities
and differences between root and shoot meristems.
