These four speakers will each give a 15 minute lecture.

Dr. Motoaki Seki is a distinguished Japanese plant scientist, currently serving as the Team Director for the Plant Genomic Network Research Team at RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science (CSRS). His pioneering research focuses on plant environmental stress adaptation, utilizing advanced 'omics' (genomics, epigenomics) to understand how plants cope with climate change, develop stress-tolerant crops, and improve resources like cassava for food security, often collaborating internationally.
- Title: Development of EGAO Technology and Its Application for Carbon-Neutral Sustainable Agriculture

Dr. Miki Fujita is a Senior Technical Scientist at RIKEN’s CSRS where she has worked since 2000. She specializes in automated plant phenotyping systems and the analysis of plant environmental and stress responses. Her research focuses on plant biology, stress physiology, and phenotyping technologies.
- Title: Development of the Automated Plant Phenotyping System RIPPS/CRIPPS

Dr. Masami Y. Hirai is Division Director of the Technology Platform Division at the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science. Her leadership spans chemical biology, metabolomics, and structural analysis, supporting advanced research through innovative analytical technologies. Her work focuses on plant metabolome and hormone analysis, biomolecular characterization, and the development of methods for molecular structure determination.
- Title: The RIKEN CSRS Metabolomics Platform: Advancing Metabolome-Based Research

Dr. Hiromitsu Tabeta is a Special Postdoctoral Researcher at the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science, specializing in plant development, metabolomics, and organ size regulation. His research focuses on auxin-related processes, metabolic pathways, and the role of functional amino acids in plant growth and stress responses.
- Title: Time-Course Metabolomics Elucidating Cotyledon Size Regulation
