Dear Bioinformatics researchers,
The deadline for abstract submission for the Benelux Bioinformatics
Conference 2007 is quickly approaching (September 23, 2007). Can we
encourage every one of you to submit a short abstract (max. 500 words) on
original or previously published work for poster or oral presentation at
BBC07? Registration is now open.
The Benelux Bioinformatics Conference is a two-day international conference
on bioinformatics. It is the primary community event for bioinformatics
researchers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxemburg with excellent
networking opportunities. The conference is aimed at both academic and
industry researchers. This year's edition, BBC 2007, will take place in
Leuven, Belgium on November 12-13, 2007. Check out the conference web site

CALL FOR ABSTRACT
The BBC 2007 program will feature invited talks together with oral
presentations and poster sessions. Participants are cordially invited to
submit an abstract (max. 500 words) for their conference contribution by
September 23, 2007.

The conference is sponsored by the Fund for Scientific Research - Flanders
(F.W.O.-Vlaanderen), the Netherlands Bioinformatics Center (NBIC),
BioScope-IT (the Flemish Bioinformatics Network), and Keygene N.V. It is
organized within the framework of the Interuniversity Attraction Pole on
Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BioMaGNet) and the K.U.Leuven Center for
Computational Systems Biology (SymBioSys).

VENUE AND REGISTRATION
The conference will take place in Leuven, Belgium at the Arenberg Institute,
Auditorium 02.C4, Naamsestraat 96, 3000 Leuven. The venue is located in
downtown Leuven, next to the historical city center with its pleasant
atmosphere, pubs, and restaurants.
Registration is now open and the registration fee is 40 Euros. Group
registration is possible.
