The project focusses on the relationship between single-nucleotide polymorphisms and protein structure and function in cancer. The aim is to predict the effects that single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and haplotypes have on both the expression levels and structural properties of cancer-related proteins. The best candidates will have a strong background in computational chemistry or structural bioinformatics.
