This 3.5 day practical bioinformatics course, aimed at wet-lab biologists<br>
with only limited experience, will focus on protein sequence analysis, and<br>
analysis/prediction of protein modular architecture.<br>

The deadline for applications is Friday 4 December 2009, and there is an<br>
application fee of 250 euros (which also covers meals and accommodation).<br>
<br>
The course is aimed at wet-lab biologists who are looking to exploit<br>
bioinformatic tools in their work - setting the scene by introducing the<br>
biological concepts behind protein architecture modules and providing<br>
extensive hands-on application of the relevant bioinformatics tools with<br>
appropriate example proteins. The power - but also the limitations, which<br>
remain substantial - of the currently available software will be examined.<br>
