The BIOBIX Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics lab of the Dept. of Data Analysis & Mathematical Modelling at Ghent University has a vacancy for an assistant (PhD research yet with an important teaching duty). This is a 6-year appointment (initially 2-year but is renewed for 2 x 2 years upon positive evaluation). Research will focus on the epigenetic clock of aging, both regarding application and the underlying biology. Students graduating in July may apply.
