Dear Marek, we made some adjustments to the artemini functionality and as a result the coordinates you see in the artemini window are now the same as in the webpage (= they are in reference to the whole scaffold). You can just copy and paste your coordinates into the artemini, save it and they will be entered into the DB. I hope this can satisfy your needs. I have uploaded Artemini 2.10 Improvements: - When the program starts it will center on the CDS sequence if present - Mail addresses on errors are all beg-bogas - Program has a bit more error reporting - Fixed bug where upper case amino acid sequences could not be found. - The name displayed is nicely formatted on the title bar - Artemini now takes into account the offset if it is present in the source EMBL file. greetings, Thomas

from Mark, .... My browser has a bit of trouble paging through the protein alignment graphic in the protein homologues section, is this a big image (in terms of resolution?) It doesn't seem to be possible to search for an amino acid or nucleotide motif in Artemini using the goto menu. Is this normal? This makes it quite dificult to find specific regions with possible structural problems. ??
